 Thanks for the interest Michael.......and thanks again Rochie for posting the new party posters. The ELTA Disciples of Speed Summer Bash is in its 9th year and last year in Canadian Hot Rods Magazine they called our party "one of the coolest 1 day hot rod events in the country" and hopefully we'll live up to this billing once again for 2013...lol. In a nut shell......it's a gathering of true hot rodders, music lovers and vintage drag racers that come from all over Ontario and the USA to have fun for one night in the old industrial part of east London out front our E.L.T.A. Disciples of Speed Club Shop which is in a 1930's Coke plant and across the street from the Hartman's vintage 1928 Supertest station. 

 This year as in past years there'll be bands, great food, vintage drag cars, hot rods, kustoms, the Forest City Roller Derby Girls, the world famous ELTA Shop full of vintage drag and hot rod memorbilia, vintage trailers, the best hard core hot rodders that support this great car kulture all in a fun layed back atmosphere....and more.

The party starts at 5:00 pm and goes to the wee hours....lol......if you come down the 401...get off at the  Highbury Ave. turn off and head north into London........when you reach Dundas St. (main drag) turn left (west) and head down Dundas for about 4 blocks and the party is on the right side........ 1120 Dundas at the Hartman Garage at Nightinggale St.

So jump in your ride and grab your best gal or buddies and join us for the fun in 2013. I know on behalf of all the ELTA Disciples we look forward to your company...............safe travels.

we're planning on being there with the Willys. Mark still owes me a cold BUD. Just gotta keep it together. We're licensing this weekend and then have 4 race dates before the ELTA bash.

 Congrats brother on the forth coming wedding and welcome back from Calgary. It wouldn't be the first time we've had a wedding party drop by the ELTA party for a visit, "refreshments" and photo's....lol.

 Hope you can make it down for some of it and best of luck with the move to St. Mary's.......you have Fatchuk as a neighbour.

A little update on the up coming party gang.......4 bands are booked in at this time, John Chandler (one of the early drag chassis builders) will for the first time anywhere be bringing the Alien 2 hemi powered front engine rail out to the ELTA Bash and got word that Hap Gooders famous 1966 Dodge Thunder 2 hemi powered super stocker will be in the house that evening also.....man....this is shapeing up for another outstanding line up of vintage drag cars for this years "Disciples of Speed Summer Bash".....I can almost smell the nitro...lol.

 Hey Steve.......it wouldn't be a ELTA Summer Bash without the "Black Sunshine" Funny Car......lol.....good question brother and it's funny you ask because I was talking with Brent today. He will be coming with the Funny Car and with that awesome 36 foot vintage 1970 drag race trailer with the ultra cool disco/funny car driver lounge built in that everyone had to hang out in at last years bash....lol.

Also, I believe we'll be having two stages this year for the entertainment........got to keep the bands happy........and saying that .....the "High Tones" as always will be rocking the night once again.......they've been with us now for at least 7 years.......awesome band.
