What Auto magazines do you read/ buy/ subscribe?

The magazine industry is not as strong as it used to be. I used to subscribe to Street Rodder, Hot Rod, Classic Trucks, Streettrucks and Custom and Classic trucks . Also often picked up Rod and Custom, and Custom Rodder.  Now I get Canadian Hot Rods, and occasionally Old School Rods.

What magazines are yoyu guys buying and subscribing to?

I get all the standards in the mail: Hot Rod, Car Craft, Popular Hot Rodding, plus Modified Mustangs and Fords. Occasionally I'll see an issue on the news stand that catches my eye from Street Rodder, Rod & Custom or some of the retro mags floating around out there and pick one or two of those too!
Oh, and we can't forget our local automotive publication: Old Autos.

Like most I get a lot of info off the internet but still have some subscriptions, Old Autos, Canadian Hot Rods, Street Rodder and the monthly NSRA magazine. Lot easier taking a magazine into the washroom than a lap top!!

None of the above.
There just isn't anything in them that appeals to me.

I used to buy subscriptions to Truckin' and Hotrod and buy others off the shelf. The only one I really buy these days is Ol Skool Rodz. I buy it as much for the rods as the pin striping etc.

427 Carl: "sometimes I buy them before they reach my mailbox"

^ That should never happen!! It used to be a perk of having a subscription to have a copy in your mailbox a week BEFORE they hit the news stands! I've seen some that are on my mailing list at the news stand and thought: "Hey! , how come I didn't get that one yet?" I guess since they don't have the plastic bags anymore, they could be getting read by someone at the post office on their breaks - no.... they wouldn't! Would they?

just mentioning. next issue of hot rod mag is doing a bio on steve brule from westech performance. he is the gentleman who built my 572 dart motor in my chevelle, 823hp-720tq on pump gas. his views and opinions are highly respected in the world of horse power as are his bosses rick stoner. i'm proud to call them friends of mine. should be an interesting read.

Subscribe to Old Autos and Canadian Hot Rods. Always pick up Ol Skool Rods and Car Kulture Deluxe when I find them. Occasionally grab Street Rodder if I'm out of reading material or if there's a particular article I'm looking for.

I used to like the Hustler cartoons. My favorite copy was the "scratch and sniff" edition.

X2 on old autos. they have been good for finding parts on a pretty much 1yr only build.
