A friend of mine who's husband died, has his Honda Shadow for sale. It's a 2007 VT 600 C7. 10K clicks on it. Mint condition, well maintained. Only needs a new front tire.

What's it worth?

Thanks

Kijiji is an excellent source. Type that exact hear make model. Find one similar. Should speak volumes. I ride. A 600 is a beginners bike. Nice bike. Hard to sell.

i ride also, but to me that sounds like a large $ for a 7 year old mini oriental bike. just saying. but, you have to start somewhere. you can always come down but you can't go up.

Bikes seem to hold their value if they are cared for. A quick search on Kijiji says they are asking in the 5000-6000 range. Wild for a beginner bike.

When I was a kid, it seemed 650 was the norm for displacement. The beezers, Nortons, Triumphs were all 650s for the most part. From there, you went up to the big 1200 hogs with the odd beemer or ducatti thrown in the middle.

Now you call them beginner bikes? whodda thunkit?

I took a street bike on a short ride just the other day. Not mine, it was a neighbours sons bike. He needed me to get it home for him as he was too busy with an unscheduled ride in an ambulance. Turns out he's fine ...... this time.

He was stopped in a turn lane, waiting to make a left and got tagged by a pickup truck making a illegal turn.

Ya,  rode Goldwings with my wife for years. As they say "don't matter whos fault it is, if you're on a bike, you come out second best every time".  nonono

When i was a kid a 450 honda hellcat was the hotest new bike on the street for a kid, but a 1200cc harley was the dream machine,,,
