Could anyone tell me where I can have a custom drive shaft built, preferably in the Barrie area?

Thank you,

Angelo

Hi Angelo, not in the Barrie area but these guys seem really good at what they do. Ottawa Driveshaft and Steering 613-742-7415. Shawn Maynard was the guy I was talking to. I have talked to them about my ride and were able to give me some great advice. Give them basic info and they will build what you need.

Thanks for the replies, I will try the Scarborough company, I have a T-56 Trans (Ford part) with 31 spline and a 9" rear end.

Maybe Late to the party but I use Lindsay Driveline service. They haven't steered me wrong yet and always fair pricing and good turn around time. Tell them Reg from Muskoka Powerhouse sent ya.

I had to match up my ford 8" with my powerglide and got it done at Goodwin Metal Products in Peterborough.
They did a great job, fits like a glove, heavy duty u joints installed with the grease nipples.

Thank you for all the feed back, I found a company handy to my route to work, they were recommended from a friend, real nice bunch of guys.

Cardanic is the name in the Finch Weston Rd area.

I've been going there for years, and never a problem.

Thanks again guy's, I have another for the list.
A friend put me on to Cardanic Drive Shaft 416 743 6500 ( Vince & Tony ) couple of great guys, helped me find the right slip yoke for my bastard child ( T-56 Ford Cobra Trans. ) gave me 2 new yokes to take home and try, wanted no money, total trust!! you don't see that much any more! took them back with my measurement and they made it all up ready to stab in in 1 week, $ 500 steel shaft. I think they were reasonable, and I'm very pleased with their work ethics.

Weston Rd & Finch area.
