This video is not exactly new, it was recorded September 22 when I was back home there. I was sad the drags that week got cancelled, but such it is.

Cars are still not here in BC yet, but possibly in the next 2 weeks or so. (Be very careful with unknown shippers... They are more plentiful and more unreliable than drunken roofers... I Apologize in advance to drunken roofers everywhere)

I am striving to come to the drags for the September 2016 run. Wont have any of these cars, but I know of one I might borrow for the day.

I can see why it might be slow

single wheel truck and both cars ar more or less at the same height as the top of the pick up box ...

probably can't drive the rig much more 'n 5 miles per hour

HAHAH!

You brought up an excellent point. This truck-trailer combo was a piece of ****e, but luckily it is only used for local pick-ups and corralling things to a larger yard. This thing would never get across country and pass any inspection. The booger welds on the trailer were terrible and all I could do was look away.

Yes indeed, it was the one on trailer in the end, broke my heart. At least the trailer was only going one way as we always drove to the track. (And always intended to drive home)

I would LOVE to have had Stude vs Stude despite my ass being kicked hard if did so. I also never managed to line up against the Avanti that was often there. (Although that September event I didn't see the Avanti at all)

I'm told the 53 is in Edmonton somewhere but still hasn't been delivered here. starting to piss me off big time

If I race again at picton, I will be using a borrowed car. I will treat it like a rental...
