First I ask the administrator remove this post because I did a stupid thing of not getting an appraisal and transferring this car into my name . I am not a curb sider by choice ,still wrong . And need the ad removed until I get things in place for 2017 .This time of year is limited time for cash ,and please don't send any offers of 9-10 grand like before they will not buy the car . So I apologize to the other members for miss leading or just no acting with class . So again please remove the ad and hope everyone will have a great Christmas and New Year

Not in the market for a Bucket, but can honestly say that is one of the nicer Buckets that I have seen advertised in a long time,..someone spent some time and money on it for sure. Very nice little unit.

I agree,...There seems to be more and more " Automotive Specialists ", handing out free advise every day on Kijiji. I have my '62 advertised, and have had almost as many insulting ( some very nasty explicit language ) reply's in regards to the vehicle, as I have had legit reply's. A lot of those morons on there are under the impression that they can say whatever they want to because Kijiji has their original legal e -mail addresses " Masked over " so the receiver of the messages sent from these losers cannot identify them, or be traced,....little do they know that, if supplied with the " masked numbers & letters ",...Kijiji can "un-mask" them just as quick as they mask them,..and Kijiji will do something about it, and very promptly. I was receiving messages from one lunatic who was actually cussing me up and down and suggesting what I could / should do with my vehicle, etc. and I took note that his messages all had a pattern,...he was using double ( back to back ) letters in each ficticuous name that he used, ie: Bugbutt, Jerry, Jibba,.....so I saved them all up,..copied and pasted them on a report, and forwarded them all to Kijiji through their " Report A Reply " section. I rec. a reply back from a Kijiji Rep, " Norman " asking me to please copy down the exact letters and digits making up the " Masked " email address on these reply's,... and forward them to him. I did just that,...and 20 minutes later I received a message back from Norman stating that it had all been taken care of, and that I would not be receiving any more ( BS so to speak ) from that specific puke !! Kijiji want's those low lifes out of there as bad as anyone else that is advertising through Kijiji, so don't hesitate,..report them.

Thanks and same thing about your post Chevrolet looks great and I used to hate them in 1968-9 because had to spot them in stock eliminator LOL  .And they were close races . Yes you have a extra solid car than a hard top ,because post cars have a B  pillar .I HAVE also got sum real goofy offers like Boats and than 2 that told me the bucket wasn't good enough for my price and offered   9 grand .What a time we live in when dreamers can just click on a site Kijiji and others and insult a person trying to sell anything . Thanks again hope you find a honest buyer have a great NEW YEAR

It will just take the right person to come along Bill, ( for your car and mine ) and we'll probably end up hitch hiking to cruise night events next season. I can wait it out as I am in no rush to sell the '62,..all it's costing me is insurance premiums and it's got a nice warm spot to sit out the winter. I would like to find the wife something though for next season that she likes and Will drive to cruise nights on her own,....if this was a 3 on the column instead of the 4 speed,..she wouldn't think twice about it. She owned a mint little '53 Meteor rag top when we first started dating,..and it had a 3 speed manual on the column, she handled that with no problem.

Good luck on your sale too Bill,..and all the very best in 2017.

Bill , just for fun I looked up 23 T bucket on a large U.S. rods-for-sale site and there are about 20 of them , mostly sbc powered like yours and virtually all are in the $20 - 30 K range . Why not put yours on Detroit Area Craigslist for about $16 U.S. and see what happens . A buy and sell buddy of mine has had success doing this , using the U.S. $$ to his advantage .

Bill , I'm going to make a couple of suggestions :

1. If Craigslist does get you some interested people , find out if they are from the U.S. ( Canadians , like me , read Craigslist all the time ) and let them know that if they are coming across the border , they will probably be asked if they have an arrest record . My buddy had a cash-in-hand buyer turned back at the border a couple of years ago and they guy was pissed off ......car got sold to another Michigander with a clean record .

2. Your T looks kit-carish to me ....I'm NOT being derogatory , it's just that I've never had an interest in buying a T-bucket although they are cool to look at . Having said that , maybe get an idea of the $$ value of the major components would cost if a guy wanted to build one . Being a car guy , if I was going to buy your car , I would try to find out what I could build one for , just for my own info . If you have the breakdown handy , you could add that to the conversation . Whether people realize it or not , they buy things , particularly big ticket items , when the VALUE reaches the PRICE in their mind. A guy might not want to pay $18 K but if he perceives the value to be $25 K ( or whatever ) it may bring him to his senses .
