Thanks Ground Pounder :)

I will be completing the built in years to come as I am too busy,  then selling in the States... There was lots of interest however it may have been beyond some folks abilities, which I certainly understand and respect.

I believed the price was very fair and when will there be another ""steel"" Willys truck for sale in Ontario including a newly built, 'nice' frame!  It would have been nice to see it stay here in Ontario and we wonder why everything goes south of the pond !!

For the 'few' who offered much less than the asking price, shake your head and have another coffee :)

For the greatest majority of the people on here you will never see another Willys truck project for sale. This was a rarity. It is hard to sell a project.
Most rodders are always upgrading to a better rod. If this was your completed build there would be no upgrading IMO there would be nothing better to upgrade to.
No upgrading means saving money in the long run.
Good for you standing your ground Neil. The people who offered much less probably wouldn't have done the truck justice.

That's a shame. Price was fair.

If I didn't have my current project, that would have been in my garage the day after you posted it.

Around 84 -86 ish . A guy called Big Bob had a nice willy coupe body for sale , no chassis . I think it was a 40 with the different grille shape . It had been an old drag car , funky old faded paint job , all steel body . floor butchered a bit , nice body , just light surface rust here an there . I was thinking about it , but didn't bite . It was 10 grand firm . I,m pretty shure he got it ..77.
