1929 Model A Tudor roof channel

Hello:  On a Ford Model A Tudor there is a sort of channel that surrounds the roof on three sides.  Can anyone tell me if that channel or something similar is available anywhere.  I have a small portion on both sides of my Tudor that is rusted out and needs replacing.  I thought maybe a facsimile might be available in Home Depot or Canadian Tire.  It would be a shame to replace the entire roof or rip up another roof just for a short strip of this channel.  Thanks in advance for any advice.

Is this what your looking for? Both Snyder's and Bratton have them in their parts lists. Snyders is steel, Bratton's look like they have an extruded aluminum example.

Actually, you are one step ahead of me.  I was hoping first to find a short length of the metal channel the strip you suggested fits into.  But thanks to your kindness, I now know where to buy the strip.  EXCELLENT !  What a great site this is turning out to be already.

Now just to find a substitute for the rusted channel the strip goes into (about two feet on either side of the roof.)  My friend wants to Bondo it but since the rest of the channel isn't rusted out, I would like to save it.  ANY suggestions are appreciated.  This is my first restoration.

Perhaps I should mention that the door posts were welded in place by the previous owner BEFORE acquiring the doors.  The result is that one door will not quite shut.  I fear we may have to move one post perhaps an eighth of an inch.  I wonder if there is another way?

Thank you so much for helping !

I just realized, if they are steel and aluminum, they MUST be the metal channel I was searching for.  (What an idiot I am).  But again, EXCELLENT !  Thank you indeed.
