John was a great guy and I was proud to call him a friend. In the late 60's and 70's he raced a Willys Olds powered gasser and then went on to what I believe was Canadas first hemi powered wheelstander ' The Little Blue Wagon'. In recent years he and his son recreated it and showed regulary. I have the original valve covers from both cars on the wall of my shop and he used to kidd me that I was 'stalking him'. John was also a talent agent for various bands and ran the Dallas country bar that was thee place to go to in the Hamilton area in the 80's. I hope others will share stories about John on this thread and I realize some can't be put in print. One of the nicest guys you could ever meet but don't ever screw him around or you would see a different John. R.I.P. John
I've known John since the '50's.
He sold cars at Bay-King Chrysler.
Him and John Greer had a Henry J that they ran at Cayuga.
He had been in the hospital for the last two weeks.
Resperatory, heart and diabetes did it.
