Welcome to the forum.....

I tried looking this up with little luck. Are the plates with blue or black lettering? If blue, I would think back like a passenger car, black on the front like a commercial vehicle. Just a guess.

More interesting reading on the historic plate subject...

Found this in Wikipedia...
Historic Vehicles[edit]

Example of an Ontario Historic front plate.
Vehicles more than 30 years old and substantially unchanged since manufacture may qualify for a "Historic" registration.[3]
Annual fees are much lower ($18 vs $108 for a passenger car in 2015)[4] but historic vehicles may not be used as conventional transportation. They legally may only be driven to and from events and parades where the vehicle is on display, to garages for maintenance, etc. Annual renewal stickers are affixed to the rear plate, as with passenger vehicles.
Historic plates are not to be confused with year-of-manufacture plates.[5]

I also think that you can't haul anything in a truck with historic plates?? The good thing is that most Police services don't know about these plates so not much enforcement, as I found out last yr. going to a meeting with MTO at Keele st. offices with members of SAVO to discuss the mis - use of these plates on "modified" vehicles. Stand more of a chance of being fined [ $ 5000 for FRAUD] for this when stopped by MOE roadside Emm. check, or actual MTO officer pulling you over.

When I had them on my pick up truck,I had the sticker on the front, because it is still registered as a truck.
