American Racing Torque Thrust Center Caps - Part # 1055001
Permalink

Hi, aside from the obvious www sources (ebay, summit, jegs...) does anyone have a Canadian source for AR Torque Thrust center caps? I met a vendor in Barrie in 2015 that had an assortment of NOS & Reproduction caps but failed to obtain his card. I believe he was from around the Welland area...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That would be Wayne...his number is 905--834-5715  right from his business card and I talked to him last week.   lugnutking@outlook.com  as well

if you want a set of shelby ones , but uncoloured , then yeah , .. me
I have a set of five new ones I bought with the hope of getting the american wheels for my truck , later, but that hasn't happened

aluminum , not plastic
5 bolt mount
no colour
has snake and shelby logo across snake but no lettering border cross bars

I got them on ebay - supposedly they were rejects from a later model shelby line

and cheep enough I can say 40 bucks and ya get the spare one for free

if you already have the wheels I'd be happy to send a tracing in the mail first

there are a few different "brands" of torquethrust wheel even within american racing

these caps and the wheels that they fit come under the brand american eagle alloy - a divission owned by a r e

I'll look up the wheel brand number and try to post a pic of the caps shortly too

note I missed your pontiac leaning in the avitar , first post lol

Thanks DJD. I managed to get a hold of Wayne, he had exactly what I was looking for. The GTO in my avitar belongs to a good friend mine who races it in Super Pro. He spent quite a bit of time last fall and over the winter with the rear set up to correct the "lean". It now hooks, lifts level and launches straight...
Cheers!
