Ancaster -just over 2 weeks away March 25th-sure wish they would let spectators in before 8am -for us early birds-should be a good show as usual!
Keep on Cruising!

I was at motorama yesterday and, to be honest, a bit disappointed... I didn't feel it was worth the $23 to get in.
Not going to bad mouth or bash. Just my feeling on it.

Just got back from the show.... I didn't mind paying to get it but I made the mistake of buying 2 hot dogs and a bottle of water..... $3.75 for water and $6 for each hot dog.

You're not kidding ... I just looked at the website for the London Ont Speed & Custom show and admission is $12 in advance, $16 at the door.  Doesn't matter to me as I gave up going to indoor car shows many years ago but interesting that there is such a price difference.

I do know that parking at the International Center in Toronto is free.  I didn't spend enough time on the London site to determine if that is also the case there too.  Oh well, guess it's not 1985 anymore.

Speaking of the high cost of some things ... I spotted an ad for a new car magazine, while poking around on the 'net, called Wheel Hub Magazine.  Four issues is a years subscription at a cost of SIXTY FiVE United States $$$$$.

W ..... T ..... F .....

Speaking of car magazines (warning, this is a RANT), there is a relatively new car magazine based out of southern Ontario called Autostrada Forum magazine (it too is published four times a year).  I picked up an issue for free during my travels and thought I might be interested in not only a subscription but also interested in buying their back issues (they only had something like five or six previous issues released).  I emailed them asking about back-issues.  No response.  I emailed them a second time.  No response.  I emailed them a THIRD time and got a short response of "$10 an issue PLUS shipping".  Funny thing is (as I see it), the cost of an issue of Autostrada Forum magazine at Chapters for example, as seen on their own cover, is $6.95 per issue.  They want to charge me TEN DOLLARS an issue for something out-of-date that they weren't able to sell, that they only sell for $6.95 when new (sorry kids, just because it's out-of-date does NOT make it a collectors item or worth more than current issue store prices).  Uhhh, thanks but NO thanks.  Oh yeah ... as friendly as they come across on social media with posts like "come say hello to us at our booth at the Canadian International Auto Show" for example, there was not even an offer to pick up any back issues in person at one of the shows/events they attend to save on shipping.  Oh, one more thing about Autostrada Forum magazine.  If you do go to their website, I challenge you to find the cost of a subscription ... I can't.  Here is something else VERY strange ... If you do go to their website and click on "subscribe" it goes directly to PayPal login. Just PayPal login ... no cost of subscription or anything else ... directly to PayPal login.  Seriously, these clowns require that I actually log in to my PayPal account JUST TO FIND OUT HOW MUCH A SUBSCRIPTION COSTS.  Yeah, that's not going to happen.  Due to all these issues (no pun intended) they have forever lost one potential customer/subscriber.  Not really a great way to start a new venture is it.  Sorry for the rant.
