Went on Saturday, took the wagon for show area & in case I bought something big. thought attendance was down from last year & prices were "UP" in sales area, came away with a steering wheel "CLUB" lock, was looking
at a traffic light inside arena, but vendor not there, & of course when I came back it was gone!!! A lot more "non automotive" stuff creeping in "AGAIN" but majority was Car stuff. 2 shows in Bobcaygeon may have kept the show area "scarce" of vehicles compared to last year. Beautiful day, & nice drive to & from there.

According to gate receipts attendance was up slightly.
vendors were up slightly as well.
There were more than a dozen other events in the area running, that we had not anticipated like the boat show, Picton Arm Drops, three car shows etc etc etc
The inside of the arena has stuff for the ladies and kids - we did that to fill the spaces - but we would gladly displace them for auto vendors - but you guys seem to be in short supply.
Lindsay was way down this year as well from what I saw - so nto so sure it is the venue or the disposition of people and spendable incomes or lack there of, of late
You want more and better - get on the jungle telephone and find us more vendors
Yes Lindsay was down in venders seeing they had the mud bath the year before affecting vender numbers. Then this year was the heavy winds that did all the damage in the area that kept the gate numbers down.

Have always thought the 1st. week of May was too "iffy" on weather, especially the last few years. IMOP I think the LINDSAY meet should move it ahead a couple of weeks, get away from the "pi$$ing contest with Stirling & have a chance at better weather. Our sales were "WAY DOWN this past spring & we dropped 2 sites for next year!!!!
