I have two vehicles both with Flat Heads. The 54 F100 original 255 is now 293 cu in with three Strombergs feeding the fuel

The 53 Meteor is a 239 flathead just cleaned up with 40 thou over and two Strombergs being fed through the Offenhauser Smoth Flow intake.

I have a front seal leak and have looked at what has to be done to open up the front and replace the seal. A big job.  I recently came  across a product by JB out of California called Oil Seal ESL/44. This product is reputed to enlarge the seals so as to make them overcome oil leaks. The folks in CA, I called them, say the product contains no acid and has proven successful with many of their customers.

Any one have any experience with this or other JB products?

Thanks,   Stan Walker

I have used JB Weld to fix the oil pans on 4x4 blazers Jimmy (after they have been whacked in the front)  The front drive case moves back and hits pan  The JB weld works great   let sit overnight and no oil leaks
