Project is almost finished!

Here's a few pics of my 34 Dodge. All 4 doors are suicide. It was a project for 6 years, now it's almost all done. A bit left to do on the interior, charging up the AC if I can find someone to crimp my hoses! Right now, I'm adding power windows, electric suicide door locks and a few other luxuries. It has a 392 hemi, 46RH tranny with Ramzilla kit, 8 3/4" posi. Front discs are chevelle, rear discs are 97 Grand Cherokee (easy to install). I put about 2,000 miles on it, it runs very strong. Once this one is done, I'll be rebuilding the wife's 63 Nova convertible. That car is all original with the 6 banger and powerglide. It will get a reuilt 230 engine but the powerglide just has to go.

Keep on Rodding

Frankr

workin class; no I did not find a hood, ended up having to widen the car, so a stock hood wouldn't fit. The hemi didn't fit very well between the front fenders so, I widened the car's front end 2 1/2 inches and widened the back fenders 2 1/4" each side to fit wider tires, then widened the running boards to match. I was about to make a hood and all my buddies commented that it would be a shame hide that good looking engine and that with no hood, the car looks like a 50's hot rod! so, I decided to drive it with no hood for a while and kinda warmed up to the idea. Some people like it with no hood others don't, I'm still a bit on the fence about that one and will probably build a prototype one piece hood "top section" and see what it looks like. Hood sides wouldn't fit anyways.. the valve covers stick out too much. Not sure if there are any laws about having a hood? Anyone know?
Adslow65; yep 6 years was well worth it to me but... the wife is happy it's almost over with the "dumping all this cash in the money pit!...
"money pit", us rodders call it an investment!
Keep Rodding

Looks really good, I could actually see it with a hood top looking really good actually. Then some nice leatehr straps or soemthing as such to hold it down. If you had the time, would love to see some more detail shots of the engine and interior... need something to drool over you know.
