PLANISHING HAMMER AT PRINCESS

FYI - just got the latest Princess flyer and they have a planishing hammer with stand for $179.99, "Special Buy" so they likely won't be carrying it as a stock item.

Used to construct medieval body armour or an alternative to an english wheel to form sheet metal.

It's a hammer for planishing of course!

Does this one use what looks like a plain old air hammer in a stand? Thought about building one once.

I had a hard time locating one a few months back. I was told they were discontinuing them. I found one in Kitchener for 90 bucks.

I then threw out the stand and made a hand held unit from it. Works great.

Second pic shows the bump formed in a sheet. It took only about a minute to do this.
