its the weekend and i can't get parts

so there i was in the shop. finished honing out the 427. gave it a good cleaning. got the bearings soaking in oil so i can install the crank and get the bottom sewn up. what no seal for the end of the crank. long weekend, guess i gotta wait till tuesday

I am sitting here watching a family of finches at my bird feeder...They are lucky that I filled it yesterday, as I have family day off.....lol

From what i was told the other day employees working "Family Day" get paid "Time And a Half."

Don't know what all that applies to. Hard on little business's that are just scraping by.

ordered complete engine gasket kit, lifters and valve spring compressor (big C type for when head is off engine) this morning. guess tomorrow. good thing i'm not in a rush

polished forge steel crank is tucked into the 427 w/ 4 bolt main caps at 110ft/lbs. woo hoo
