anyone ever see them in swap meet like the ones they had in the sixties .where you turn set the numbers how are they selling for rough or restore i just want it for my own home garage
I would say a unrestored air pump would bring 200-250 now a days. I used to sell them gas pumps and other gas and oil stuff at Barrie years ago when they were just kool garage krap. Now gas and oil have become main stream collectibles the prices are higher. I had a guy that did service station remodeling and was buying them for 50.00 and would sell them at 75.00 for the newer ones. The older clock faced ones always brought good money last clock faced one I sold WAS 350.00 and that was 10 years ago.

Is this what your hoping to find? I havent seen one unrestored for under 500.00 for the last couple of years. Most are in the 600-675 range and over a 1000.00 restored I go to most every market in ontario all summer long.If you do find one cheaper it will be by fluke or somebody about to miss a payment joe mac
i just seen one on ebay 5 seconds ago the price is at 400.00 right now i guess it will probably go higher .also found a place in Lindsay on kijiji where the guy restores stuff and the the one he has the price is $2000.00 ouch the one i saw on ebay is like attach to the wall.......not on a stand ..........the place i found in Lindsay the guy does beautiful resto on cocacola and anything about service station

Hey Bud,
if you can set me up with the people who are selling them for $200- $250 I will gladly buy every single one they have...you must not be looking any longer because old rusted out ones or ones that are beat to hell are going for $400-$500...

WOW that kind of money is insane to me. They were on every gas station back in the day. And back in those days they were free or close to it. I guess I should have hourded my stuff up till now and made out like a investment banker. Still think they are way over priced for what they are but so is everything else these days. Im such a LOSER.

I had all kinds of signage years ago back when I used to run the back roads of the Ottawa valley as a picker but never thought people would pay so much for the crap. I just dont understand why? Please dont give me the supply and demand stuff. I know a couple of antique dealers who use that statement for greed and gouging suckers. As P.T. Barnum used to say there is a sucker born every minute. I just didnt think there were so many suckers my bad judgement trying to be fair with fun pricing. I just dont get it. Im such a LOSER. If you look in the garage in the pic I showed there is a BA sign on the wall the garage was full of stuff all bought cheap compaired to todays prices.
