The organizers of today's Drag Race Memories show did a great job. There was just a ton of old drag racing pictures and memorabilia Way too much to see at one show, but just great that people have been collection and saving and are now sharing. Great Memories.
Sure was great to see a number of the "old" guys we used to race with and against. The stories still flow. Not much left after family, friends and memories.
We left just before 2.00 PM and the girl at the ticket booth said there was over 700 visitors by that time. Great turnout.
My suggestion for future shows, would be to have more drag race cars, especially old ones (if available) and maybe new ones just to show how the cars have changed.
I was there , drag exhibit was kool , to much to see , i thing didnt care for was ticket price , i dont care for planes , went there for the drag stuff , 2 adults and 11 yr old --- 31.50 $ ( but thats just me , sorry ) Maybe in future own hall , there was no question admission pay for the hall , there was a huge line up when i arrived ... That aside had a great time thanx to the people for their time and effort , hemikev
Excellent show in my eyes. Lots of great banter among the old guard. Our older guys from the Piston Pushers were in full step reliving the old days. Great cars, fantastic old photos, lots to see. I thought the historic planes were a great backdrop.

Many years ago there was a lad named Potter that sectioned a '39 (or so) Pontiac. It was very well done. The was another Potter that collected old gas pumps.
