Yes and it was awsome. Had a great day out, met some members from this site and some others that I frequent and there was an excellent turn out of cars. No MOE that I saw. Show and swap is getting bigger and the "new" Rocton location is much better than the "old" Waterdown location IMO. Two thumbs up

Was there....found all the parts I needed. It was a really good swap meet. There was also a chevy pickup I like, but I think the price is a little high for me.

I went today for the first time at around 1pm, seemed like everyone was itching to pack up and go. Yes it was a bit overcast and got a spit of rain, but by 2pm, there was hardly any cars left. Ran into someone I met In Syracuse 2yrs ago, which was nice.
I'm hunting for Mopar stuff, so not much there for me, aside from a small CI early Hemi that was a bit spendy.
But a day off work, and some car rusty or oily parts is a good day.

Hey Fast, was that the Vega on the trailer with the wild stripes?

It was a great show and turnout. Saw people there from OnRod, Poncho and Steves. We were there early and left around 1pm. Very hot day. This show seems to be getting bigger and better. Thanks to 69SS454 and Slab for hauling the Old Man around.biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Yea that was the one...we got there right at opening on Saturday, so it was nice to not have people walking in front of ya while you were trying to look at something...within 10 minutes of being there i grabbed a complete set of old style centreline knockoffs...for less then what i would get for scrapping one . We walked around the grounds 3 times and seemed to see something new each time....it is getting bigger, and better

Yeah - I was there by 10am. There were some really good deals, but not many. Everyone was definately packing up by 1pm. That canadian pickers show is really driving up the prices of some crap. Signs that were $50 last year are now $500.

Prices on most of the vehicle there were stupidly high. I saw one that was decent - but the guy wouldn't budge at all and it was still on the expensive side for what it was.

Check the prices on kijiji lately?...some of these people are on crack i think....i can point out 2 cars on there that were selling for about 1/3 of what the asking price on them is now..it boils down to greed i think....didn't ya know theres gold in that there rust!!!.when i got the vega, i asked what he was asking...no way was i going to pay that or even near it,,,told him to give me his bottom dollar, and that was still to much.after asking him if he wanted to sell the car or not, we talked..and after 20 minutes of wheelin n dealin we came to which i thought was a fair price. Some people you can deal with, others you can't, and are stuck on their price and end up getting stuck taking the vehicle home.

I thought it was a good show and bigger than the fall meet. Thanks to Oldguy and 69SS454 for hanging out with me and the boys. You guys are the best. Ya always make my boys feel part of the group and I know they had a blast and will remember these outings. And Kurt ...once again Thanks for taking Ben as Co-pilot in the Wildthing. I saw the video and it looked like a great ride.

Hear you fastchevy
I saw a nice home built 29-30 Model A station wagon in satin primer with a 302, being sold at Ancaster about 3 yrs ago for $7950. I thought about buying it but didn't (dumb).
I saw it on Kijiji in St. Catherines about 2 months later for $19,950, CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope the guy never got a buyer............

I can remember a friend of my fathers giving me a ride back in the early 70s. The car was a red and black 69 Mach 1 with a 4 speed 351ci. with a louvered rear window, chin spoiler and rear wing. I got great pleasure from being able to perhaps pass along and at the same time re-live the great ride I had years ago as a yongster near Bens age. Thanks to you, Ben, Jacob and the OldGuy for walking the show at my snails pace. Wish I could of covered more of the swap but that uneven ground is a killer for me. Next year you and the kids get to pick me up in the Nova Wagon and I can throw in my scooter, sit back and enjoy the ride!

OldGuy you could bring your mobility scooter along as well

                                 Hi Joe

Enjoy

I've never seen tail lights like those on a Maverick (the baby blue/for sale). That '57 Chev. vert is a nice custom also.
I missed all that when I went, they were gone, thanks for the pics.
