Leaving for West Virginia tomorrow for FOP car Show just outside of Charleston. This will be the 7th year in a row attending this one with the 64 Catalina. Was hoping to take the 52 but ran out of time!!! I'll try & stay in touch on friends computor while there. Pete

Got here yesterday at 2PM Stayed in Grove City PA on Tues. night, then on to St.Albans W.V. on Wed. Hit 2 horrendous rain storms on Tues, so hard we were going to pull over but drove out of them. Wed. 1/2 of trip was 84 F & the scenery was great. Will try & remember to take pics. at car show on Sat. Got held up on the 401 at Oshawa due to a truck roll over,then another 20 to 30 min at border. Must say the US customs officer got up on the "wrong side of the bed" or his underwear was on " backwards" I didn't think we looked like the "TALIBAN"

Went to cruise in tonight, but weather was cool & it poured all day!!! only 10 to 12 cars showed up. Car show tomorrow, forcast partly sunny,chance of rain & high of mid. 60's may be low car turn out BUMMER!!!!!

Well I "won" a award!!!! Got a plaque for one of the top 45 in show!!! BONUS!!! Show was good,close to 100 vehicles & the weather held!!! Sunny for most of the show then just cloudy. Hoping to hit the road home at 9am & get up to near Erie PA tonight, then cross back on Mon. to Canada. Jan's sister in Whitby is not doing too well[ in Hospital]& she wants to get back to see her!!1 Have pictures to post when we get back. Pete

Here's Charleston's Police Dept. Chevelle, 383 Stroker,headers etc. & Yes it's fully equiped & They USE it!!!! The fellow with his arms crossed has a "GUN" on his hip!!! Yes he's on duty but down there the cops have one "all the time" Just in Case

Ya so did I & it was "LOUD" no silencers in the pipes, could hear it coming from a great distance!! Said he's had it on the road now for 3 yrs & never been stopped!!! Ah the Rednecks!!!!! Try that here & i wouldn't get a block???

Forgot,,, That Buick straight eight pic, isn't that the one that to start it you turned on the key, then pressed the accelorator to the floor which engaged the starter?
