Anyone going to the Camaro Nationals?

The Camaro Nationals are in St.Catherines I beleive it's the 15-17 of June.  Ben, Jacob and Me will be there Saturday the 16th.  We've never been before but since Ben's now a "Camaro Owner" we've got to go and check it out.  I'm looking forward to it.

Anyone else going or have been in the past??

Sounds good Olddude!
It seems that the show is like a big car club get together and they expect 200plus camaro's. Reminds me of the Nova Nationals where they meet at big hotel and have the day all planned out with activities(if your a club member). Last year it was held in the parking lot across from the GM plan and they set a record with the most Camaro 's in one spot....or something like that. I beleive there was 500 plus Camaro's.

Not trying to sound like a total idiot (at this point my wife chimes in with "never stopped you before") but I've never been interested in a show focusing on one model (like Camaro, Nova, or Corvette) or even one make (Chevy or even Mopar with Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler). Don't get me wrong, I actually like Camaros and Vettes and used to own a Nova SS and a 340 Duster myself, but when it comes to a car show I really like the variety of different cars you see at a show open to every manufacturer.

But hey, that's just me :)

Different strokes for different folks. Variety is good.. no doubt. But going to a show that has your favourite car/brand only, offers some advantages. There is usually a wealth of info specific to your car or questions. It's great for ideas and combo's that will work. My son loves Camaros and is young(not even old enough to drive it) and needs to get some ideas and just meet people who share his interest. Also most car clubs are pretty tight and willing to help younger and or any other member with questions or needs. The other thing is...a show like this is usually a once a year thing.

The event was great. My boys and I had a good time checking out all the Camaros of all generations. Although we were just spectators, it seemed like a very well run event. Some cars from PA and Michigan were there. Some real rare cars - yenko's and COPO 427 cars. There were a couple of the new 500plus horse power camaro's as well. My son Ben was in Camaro heaven!!
