My wife says there is something wrong with me,i am never satisfied she says,,,,after selling the 57 chevy i thought i would need something to fill the empty space in my yard, so, went to Collingwood to look at a car,,saw a 57 sedan delivery on kijiji located in Wasaga Beach,it's on the way...,,i'll buy that first if its decent i said to myself...tried contacting the guy about it,ask for his #..,,he emails back saying today (sat) is not a good day,,,leaves it at that, no number...nothing about when would be good,,,,oh well...must not want to sell it that bad i guess...so, off we go to Collingwood,,,look the camaro over,,,,,haggle some and load it up...now its here in my yard doing nothing,,,i have it partially hidden because its pink....so...fast forward to today....minding my own buisness playing with the 67 firebird and the phone rings,,a guy has this 68 camaro...prostreet drag car ,,needs finishing etc etc...gives me a price...i say i dunno man, i don't need it...he lowers the price,, then again...and again...now, i have to go see this car,,,look it over while hmmming and hawing,,,,the price is lowered again....now i jump at the price.....load it up....yes, i brought the trailer....get it home and ask myself what the hell am i doing.i am supposed to be retired,,play abit on my own cars,,,have fun......now i have a 53 chevy 2 door, a 76 camaro drag car,,,a 68 camaro drag car and a 76 vette lined up waiting to be worked on...
The only thing that can stop this erational behavior in us is the empty wallet till then I say go for it enjoy the thrill of the hunt and no regrets.PersonallyI don't see a problem here just an oppertunity to have lots of choices at swap meats. ED
Not sure if you're bragging or complaining. Either way, nice problem to have. Its a disease for sure. Just about everyone on this forum has it. Rest easy brother, you ain't alone. Keep up the good work!

I have the same problem with machine tools, it's just a crazy addiction that when compared to going to the hotel and blowing the grocery money, or the mortgage payment,,it really isn't so bad. And, you have the capabilities to repair/resell these vehichles at a bit of a profit,,, Can't be too much wrong with that.!! LOl
I can just see it now, years down the road when we're in a nursing home, still trying to buy up the other residents wheelchairs/walkers etc !!! Lol
I dont know Stu...i got it out of collingwood area......ownership with previous owners name says his address was pioneer trailer park.....now i am having a visual here, because i have a wild imagination......lady driven,,,,trailer park address......man, this chick had to have been hot!
i had this same problem years back and solved the problem... I am now single and kept the cars... lol. No more complaints !!
had a girl friend years ago, mention that she thought i had too many bikes. i bought 2 more that day and told her to hit the road running. as of now, my wife has 2 bikes and i have 4.
