Saw this posted on the HAMB

A friend sent me a link to this video on YouTube .....

At the start it says Hollywood Blvd - 1953 but later on I see a 57 Chevy and 57 Cad and those seem to be the newest cars so I'm guessing it was filmed in late 56 or 57.

At 2:28 I spotted a lowered and primered 49-51 Ford convertible with skirts and shaved door handles parked at the curb.

Don't know if this has been posted before and if it has, I'm sorry for posting it again. Just thought it was a cool waste of 4 minutes.

That was awesome !! I wonder if the guy used a Go-Pro camera ?

I nearly blew a gasket at 2:30 when he pulled up behind that Nash wagon. Damn I love old wagons !! There was a guy at the Barrie flea market that brought one to sell a while ago, and I had my eye on it for a couple of years. I tried to track it down but had no luck, and ended up building my Dodge instead.

Thanks Poncho that was a fun vodeo. The cars are cool but the fun part for me is the people in the video just doing everyday stuff and here they are over 50 yrs later being seen on something that haden't been invented yet(the internet)thousands of miles from home in another country, stuff like that just amazes me.Wonder if 50yrs from now some dude from some planet we haven't heard of will be wondering what the hell it ment, to drive your rod to the burger joint for the cruse night. Ed

Very cool video. It sure shows what a prosperous era it was as most cars looked to be fairly new, and the overwhelming number of Caddies!
I also noticed that folks drove like arseholes back then too!
