Why are you trying to keep the truck under 2440lbs? My '48 Chevy is on the original frame, has a plain interior, no inner door panels or headliner, my bed has 3/8" plywood......the truck weights in at 3200lbs without my fat ass in the driverseat! I'm not sure where you're going to drop the remaining 800lbs from unless your NOT installing a drivetrain?
Hard to give any input or help when we don't know how or where you came up with a number like 2440 lbs ?Also, what were you asking? re read your original post. I couldn't make heads or tails out of it. I would be the first one to offer help, if I could.
cab on s10 done.I guess this means you put the cab on an S-10 chassis
rear of truck is getting tubed. not 4 link not ladder bar useing parts out of my yard. Well, that doesn't tell us much !! What did you use? an old swing set?
we have 83/4 dodge with 391 that is 33.5 wide on super stock leafs. have 29x18.5x15 m/ts pro sport tires. Ok, that seems pretty straight forward
would like to see some pics or prints to see the best way to do this all ready put in front cross member in so front of springs can be mounted but theirs all ways a but. i can carry on with rails going back would like some info before carry on is all ways best needs to be strong but also would like to keep truck around 2440lbs or less have not cut any of s10 frame yet so fare every things in side of it WTF was all this jibberish?? All I got out of it is you want to build a truck 2440lbs, and the rest, well I guess I'll have to get my Chinese neighbour to try and decipher what you were trying to say.
In all seriousness, a reply like "thanks for the input it shure was help full" ain't gonna get you much help here !!
