I am looking for ow total bucket body. Know of 1. ???? When I was a young boy, my family used to go to Waterford conservation area. Picnic swim/fish...thinking back, some of my best memories. Anyhow 1 day I see the most beautiful car I be ever seen...There on the front lawn of some house sat a black t bucket..lots of chrome, jet black, huge rear tires. I was hooked. Keep in mind I was like 9-10 yrs old...My dad would buy me street Rod / hotrod mags. I swore 1 day I'm gonna have me a bucket..i think that day is here. 40 yrs later.....So I'm looking for a bucket body some 1 out here mite have in the corner of their garage /barn. My memory is like 1970/72...never forget that car..it started me as a young car guy. Blame it on the bucket...
My Buddy Jerry has one for sale, I don't know how much though. It's this one, small block Ford, C4 trans 9 inch. Email me at waynerochon@rogers.com and I'll give you his phone number.

I would go for one Built. You'll think you can build one for less than a "TURN KEY" car, but I'll bet you won't be able too unless your shop is fully equiped, you have expert welding experience, & upolstery exp. & Painting. Not counting all the other pcs. you'll need, engine, trans, rr. end, D shaft [shortened & balanced] It adds up "real" quick!!! I went way over budget on 52 Torpedo back & did 80% of it myself!!!! Built car you can change some things to "personalize" the car to you, & enjoy it NOW not 3 to 5 yrs. away. Took me 3 yrs. full time to build mine.

"Turn of the Century bodies" They are in Minnesota. These are the bodies MAS used to sell, now without the Middleman. I think they are around $200 or $300. Ship it to Niagara Falls N.Y. Pick it up yourself. There is NO reason that you cannot build a T Bucket over the winter. I hope you have read the the stuff about the emissions on Hot Rods. There are ways. Don't despair. Hit all the remaining cruise nights and Car Shows you can and photograph any T Bucket or A or 32 roadster you can find. Suspension, steering, columns, all the stuff that is relevant to a build. You can put one on the road for under $4,000. Shop THRIFTY! See me in Cookstown September 30. the Kid

Thanx every 1. ,,my plans were to build old school..stock motor 4/bbl. Maybe a noisy geardrive..older 283/327.. As for body. Well try and find some different things that u don't usually see... Although I didn't know bout old emissions that you guys have pointed out. Think should be okay with powertrain that283/327 swe're available.....I'm not a George barris but have some decent skills and work for largest Canadian metal fab place in this part of Ontario. Limited access to laser cutters and welding / mig/tig. So this helps..just need the plans and ideas. Try to stand out from another bucket best I can....got anyoff the wall ideas?????
Holy crap Pete that makes the Munster Coach look tame.Ya that is exactly what I mean C-cabs can be wild .Is that far enough off the wall fou you Hemikev. Ed
There is a fair amount of frame /chassis info available on another site that Poncho hosts, Shade Tree Mechanic. Look it up and go to the tech section, lots there.
That C cab is 428 Ford powered, "STREET DRIVEN" & exhaust stacks are "OPEN" you can hear that 'sucker" coming for miles!!!! Asked him in 2010 at show [shown here] in Charleston W.V. "don't you get stopped or hassled"??? Owner said "it's been on the road for 3 yrs. now, & never had a word said about it" Ah, Red Neck country!!!!

Saw a C cab body on E-bay for cheap. It is in Ohio, just a short drive. You could probably throw the body in the back of a pick up and bring it home as antique auto parts, duty free........ item # 280954180733 current bid is $750

show cars i ran into the guy that owns it last year at the belleville cruise and he said he was moving to belleville. something about a divorce now that being said i haven't seen him since then. i have bought fiberglass stuff off him before and his warehouse/business was in behind the airport in toronto. he made me up a 4 in cowl induction hoodscoop for my 63 acadian wagon and wheel lips for a tilt front end for the same car.

There are 106 miles to Chicago. We have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
There's a guy near Windsor that builds Bucket, C Cab , C Cab pickup and touring bodies and he has some real steel ones too. Let me know if you need his info - won't be able to reach him for at least a week though. He used to go by Dominion T but I don't know if you can get him with that info. He's got a bunch of speed equipment, old Hemis etc. for sale too.

Oh Hon-eeee, when I die, don't believe anything my buddy Mark tells you about the value of my stuff.........
Hey, HemiKev, how's it going? Any headway on your T-Bucket? I see Shafiroff Racing engines has a new alloy 509 inch w-motor (409). Haven't read the spec's, but an alloy bog block weighs less than an iron small block. One of those bullets in the 6 shooter should keep you from wearing out the front tires. You'll be a Live Rat Fink 'toon. You'll need velcro on the rear wheel/tires so you can replace 'em each Monday. I see lotsa 69 & older blocks starting to pop up for sale. Think about that. the Kid.
