I like to use Fireball coatings located in Erin Ont, its approx 20k north of Halton Hills. They have really good selection of products , different options for coating parts.

Yeah, Fireball seems to have the market in this area. I had mine done, but I'm not too happy with the results. Mind you it's been a couple of years since they've been done.

What didn't you like Hemi43? Did Fireball do them and what was applied?

 Yes fireball did them !!

Where the tubes fit into the header flange, rust is forming around them. I guess the ceramic when applied can't wick into tight areas. Another issue I'm having is a few areas are chipping off. I had the "silver" ceramic applied, then the headers were put in a vibratory polisher. These were high quality Sanderson uncoated headers when I bought them. If I had to do it over again, and wanted a show quality job, I would tig the tubes to the flange, and sandblast them myself. This way I can guarantee the prep work was done properly.

I now have a powder coater, and have experimented with high heat manifold powder. This stuff works great on cast iron manifolds, but not on tube headers. The powder fails right at the head because of the extreme heat. Also, at the moment it's only available in satin black.

Mine were done about 6 years ago, so maybe they've worked out the problems.

JMO Sanderson headers are not top quality. I have had factory welds fail on at least two sets. Nothing but grief when it came to warranty. One were pair of lake style and the other were SBC block huggers. It was cheaper for me to weld them myself than send them back. I found that using POR 15 exhaust manifold paint worked the best for me but there is no shiny stuff either silver or cast iron.
