Come on down Guys and meet up with some great people, some pretty cool cars, and some free food. We are having a couple of celebrity guests joining us this fall ....So be sure NOT to miss it
I'll be there for sure. Mike and Jamie tell me I gotta make breakfast as a newbie ELTA member. So come on out to the ranch before the bbq and I'll serve up the pop tarts! Otherwise, I'll be there long before 2 to lend a hand. Chris
You know guys, this is "THE" bestest gathering in Southern Ontarioario...if you don't believe me just ask somebody that's been here. I will not beg anybody to come down...well there are a couple that I would, but if you don't come down...IT"S YOUR LOSS See you on Sunday
It was a great day in London for sure. We were there with my 66 T-Bird, the faded gold one with bullet caps in the pics. Lots of neat cars and nice people!
cheers Ed

What a event. Besides swap meets the two E.L.T.A. [and Hartman] deals are ,for me, the best car events in Southern Ontario .Just laid back fun.Got to talk to Scott Wilson[ first to run 235 in a top fuel dragster];Skip Adair with his .beautifully restored 'Renegade' top fuel dragster and "Ontario George "Gray who is recreating his famous supercharged A\G 33 Willys. These guys were major players in the world of drag racing in the 60"s & early 70's. I also spotted Wayne Huber & Bill Kydd [first a\a in the 8 sec.] but ran out of time to talk to every one. Next time. Great Day.
Glad you enjoyed it Bob. We try hard to ensure a great time for everybody. The biggest piece of the congratulations belongs to Mark Rogerson (Fast Elvis), without his dedication, persistence, and true love of things traditional, we wouldn't be where we are now.
And a big thanks to all the folks who attended and especially the "old guard"...... they were our heros when we were younger and they are a great example for the young guns to follow.
