Just to add ... those are kickass performing tires. Quiet and smooth, but tons of grip, and stellar wet grip if you do go out in the rain. I had a set on my Thunderbird Super Coupe for a few years and loved them.

Good luck selling!

cheers
Ed

i guess you probably won t sell anything separate ? how would 225 45r 17 would compare to your 215 40R 17 ................and going with seventeen to replace 15inch tire ......my 65 galaxie has 225 75 r15 .......would the 285 be e quivalent or that would make the car real low

I would sell the rears separately and without the spinners. I would trade the rears with tires for a pair of AR torquethrust ll -  20 X 10 in perfect shape ( wheels only).

As far as size differences go, I think the 45s would be about an inch taller than the 40s but can't say for sure. It would take a little research or ask a tire guy.

Sorry but the rims won't fit anything I drive other than the car trailer & there too nice to waste there!!! Was hoping they might have been 5 X 5" pattern for the 64. Pete

Carl, thats a lot of beer bottles you'll have to collect at the roadside!! Is that why you said "not till spring" Remember "bend at the knees ' when lifting.

Congrats on the sale! Good time of year to come into a little extra cash too huh? I was keeping an eye on these for a while for myself, but bought a few other (top secret) things I wanted that little bit more and ran out of time/money. I didn't respond to your ad because I didn't want to lead you on. Congrats to you also Reg, on a fine deal on some quality Hot Rod parts! Ain't this site great?!!!

Home safe and sound. Nice to meet you Roger, your place is looking great and I can see your vision coming together real soon.
Rims are beautiful, polished up beautifully and my client is over-joyed to have them on his Mustang.

I agree, Ontario Rodders forum victory again all around!

Just a side note that the spinners did not go with the wheels and are still available. They are the standard ARE wheel cap pattern. I'm pretty sure 2 1/4" between the little bolts. $100 for the set. They are new.

Thanks
