Looks like its official,I just read on the ktown site that they have cancelled for this week and are going to run it next week due to the forcasts of bad weather.Oh well 1 more week to get the car ready. Ed
I think it was a good choice to pospone the event, the rain wasn't heavy but it was steady so the track would never have dried and those travelling a long distance to race would have been disapointed with only a car show and no racing . Ed
buick is good to go for armdrop but figures the clutch in the bastard went today. looks like im pulling the tranny on sunday instead of playing with the rat truck
So here I am, Sat. the 29th, @ 7pm waiting for an update from you guys. It's a 3 hour drive for me, and have been in that area at least 5 times this summer, as I have some good friends in Kingston and Odessa. So how was it? The weather was great here (Kitchener), what about there? Watch out for hang-overs!

Well Gazoo All I Can Say Is You Missed A Good One.
I Don't Think The folks Of Armdrop Were Ready For The Huge Turn Out.
There Was More Muscle There Than A Frankie Avalon Beach Flick.
But I Left Early To Get My Dog So I'll Let Eddie Tell You The Rest.
Gazoo 60s and 70s muscle cars of every make, late models, tuners, trucks and a jet car. Then there was the car show and the bike show.Standing at the starting line watching 68 Cameros racing early 60s Mopars was just awsome. It was just like the video that was posted on this site yesterday.Watched a front engine rail go against a blown 41 Willies coupe then two early 60s Mopars It was like that all day .Then the jet car let loose can you imagine a 1/4 mile in less than 3 seconds and then he had to stop before he went into the woods, unbeliveable. All the Ratlers raced and we even had some friends along .Unfortunatly the 55 didn't make the trip as I broke the cam, I was supposed to change, getting on it for practice last night on my road. But I have to say this was the most fun I have had ever at a car event ,even without my car(except racing at the last Armdrop). Our friend Al was top dog in our little group ,and The Boy(my son)went 3for 3 in the Roadmaster, Grumpy beat Dan and Fatstax eventually found second gear and had some good runs.As far as I can tell everybody had a great time and we will all be at the next one in the spring. ED
Great stuff! I have to call my friend from Odessa, see how he made out with his big block 4 speed Chevelle. I think he's heading out to Shanonville tomorrow, something happening there also I believe. Nice to hear you all had a great time.
Hey Lightspeed I just finished watching the DVD they had for sale at the races. It was the one fron the spring Armdrop .Watched Grumpy and you racing,TJ and I ,Fatstax and Moondoll and her Mustang.Saw Fastchevy run and the guy doing the video says "this one is quick"yet when I beat TJ,The video guy says"left lane wins...Slowly...hows that for a play by play.He was right though its funney how fast you think you are going when you are racing and then when you see it on video you wonder if the race will ever end.Oh well the video was great to watch and now the bench racing can begin.
