Hi. my name is John Arps. I am in the planning stages of having a cruise in Windsor On. in the summer of 2013. I have been involved in the car community for a number of years and thought that it would give a large event to the southern Ontario car guys to go to instead of the regular car show . The promotion company that puts on Crusin Hines drive in Mi. (20,000) cars this year, and Crusin Michigan ave plus probably 10 more large car shows in Michigan has agreed to help me promote this cruise. I would like to know what everyone thinks of this idea. Tired of the same old car shows, this is what they have in Michigan,like Woodward or crusin Michigan Ave  and we could have it too. Let me know what you think. Thanks John   jjarps@hotmail.com

Grumpy from the Ratlers is trying to do a rolling cruse on this side of the big smoke he was thinking of hooking up with the Kawartha gang and try to set up a weekly cruse up the main st like the old days and maybe we could set something up with some of the Oshawa rodders to cruse there main drag some night .Don't know about you guys but I just can't stand sitting in a parking lot anymore time to drive these things before we are legislated off the road .Next year lets have rolling cruse nights to someware different ,maybe pick a different restaurant in a different town and you could run between home base and the newplace just to see some different faces,cars and scenery.Any other thoughts or ideas or even comments as to weather it is wanted or doable.Anybody know anything about any kind of crusin laws or issues in your town. Well we have some interest fro the Ford City people in Windsor on Drouillard Rd that are having a festival in September to recognize Henry Ford's 150  birthday celebration. Blackburn radio group also has interest. Windsor Classic Car Cruise    sounds great   any idea    what date range?    (month)

Hey, I'm from Riverside too. Did you go to Riverside High? There's a reunion scheduled for October.

It looks like Sept 29 2013 will be the date of the cruise. This is the day after the Ford City Festival in Windsor .I think this might be a good date because most car shows are done for the season but it is still warm weather. The Ford City people are going to close some of the street down just for the cruise. Parking will also be along the route and probably at the old Ford test track. We are still in the planning stages but things are coming together.
