wrecking yard today posting some pics

I found this corvair in a yard locally..all i want is the steering box,,,if any 1 else needs parts let me know ,  i will direct you to the yard....no front seats but back seat there,door panels and rest of interior still there  ( black )   ..no engine tranny .. all glass decent .   doors seemed ok,,,hood and truck lid decent..

looks like 1972  ???    alot of good parts to be picked as of yet,,,dash pad was nice ,,also inside car was full set of olds rallies...

Damn, that corvair looks too good to scrap. Wtf is wrong with people?? That would make a nice v8 conversion project....would like to know where it is...
It's a '65-69 model. Don't think there was ever any 70's models

corvair is a solid builder,,,mostlt complete  ,,,couldnt get into to front hood so dont really know whats in there...

I'd sure like to know where it's located, though I'm not holding my breath that they'd let it go at a reasonable price being at a wreckers and all... Was it in the yard, or out front for sale??

in the yard   off to the side...wrecker guy to call me this week after he takes steering box out  ...when i go there to pick up i will ask any inquiries you have ,,,or will pass along number...hes a decent guy   old family buisness....

There are 106 miles to Chicago. We have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

 been there done that back in the 80s. At least at that time we still got at least one cool car a week. I was the on road buyer for the yard and got alot of good deals.
