Battery Tender question
Permalink

So I bought a battery tender junior and have been using in the following way these past couple of weeks and am wondering if this is how your guys use it or an equivalent product. Say for example I drive the truck on Saturday then it sits until Thursday, then I put the battery tender on until Saturday and take it for a drive again, and follow this same procedure next week.  Last year the snow was very minimal, so I was able to take it for a spin about once a week when the roads were free of salt, sand, or that liquid crap they toss out, and wanted to follow some method this winter.

Dont know how those Battery Tenders work, but I have one of those solar panel ones that I hang in a window and have it hooked to my battery all winter....works good. Your battery isnt losing power after a week of sitting is it?...If so, there is something wrong

Battery is new this year, no charging issue, just when I read the instructions they said when the vehicle isnt continually driven, then the battery tender will keep the charge up on the battery like your solar one does.  I just wasnt sure if I should leave it attached all the time when not driven until the next time I drive it.

Ive been using the battery tender for over 20 years, it's constantly hooked up whenever the car is parked.

Ctec battery tender seems to be the rage on the Corvette site    seems it only charges when it senses a loss in the battery ??
