I have the front end - hub to hub - from my 36 Chev pickup . I remove it to put on a Fatman M2 set-up. If you are interested I can take some pics once the snow gets down to where I can get in the door!!

I checked out the info at sids. Most of the problems come trying to interchange late and early spindles and hubs. Want to use the 6 bolt original wire wheels. My neighbour has 55 56 truck axles (5 bolt) but the inner and outer bearing are a different inside dia. and the axle is wider. Hoping to find an early axle with juice brakes thanks joe mac

Your neighbours 55 56 was modified chev trucks used 6 bolt to mid 60s but yes the 2nd series 55 has a wider axle just picked up two 17" artillarys similar to the ones in the picture and have 4 more coming from the west coast for my 57. mods and swaps on hubs and axles are fairly common . my 57 somehow over the years ended up with gmc hubs and spindles US truck canadian trucks will share the same parts other then trim and badging. hard to tell but the rims in the picture appear to be 16 " 37-38 same 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern .nice score for the lot good luck
