Well I caved in, and figured I deserved/earned it...I went to the local Dodge dealership this morning and locked it in. I saw it on the lot, late last week, recognized it, I know the previous owner.
She's an older lady, close to retirement, and takes really great care of her cars, regular service and all.
It kinda helps that I've also known the owner's of the dealership for some 25 plus years, due to my association with the Moparfest committee and what not.
I got a killer deal on it, and I just had to do it. I won't be getting it until next Thursday, due to final inspection and what not...but I can't wait.
I've always loved the larger luxury performance cars. My first car was a '68 Buick Wildcat, 2dr. with the 430ci., also had a '88 LeSabre T-type(bought new), Monte Carlo's , etc...
So this 2009 Chrysler 300C (loaded), with a 5.7 Hemi, just found itself a loving home.
I just couldn't get used to driving those FWD, mid sized, Corolla's etc...and the Dakota is kinda practical, but also impractical, and not all that comfy on long trips.
Those 300s with the 5.7 are quick !! I drove one when they first came out, and within seconds got it to 220 and it kept pulling with 4 fat guys in it. Very impressive !! I couldn't imagine the 6.1 !!

It's quick for sure, it also has the 5sp with the Autostick, which I'm sure can get you in trouble real quick. For the most part, I got it because I've always liked the looks of them, and I wanted something comfortable to drive for the long trips.

Ya just might have to take it for a drive to Newcastle one of these days !!

I'd be driving through Newcastle today, on my way to Kingston/Odessa, if I'd have the car.

This is ours its a 2005 with the Hemi...way to much fun for a daliy driver....you will love yours.....all around a great car ( only thing I found is I have done front hubs twice....Due to the 20" Summer rims... puts more load on the bearings......no biggie about 15mins a side..)
I had one of those Chrysler 300's with a Hemi. It was a nice car and I had very little trouble with it. They are surprisingly good on fuel and have plenty of power but the computer control does take some of the fun out it. It's got more than enough power to chirp the tire when it shifts into second but the computer softens the shift so that doesn't happen. Snow tires really make a big difference for winter traction on those cars. They're nice cars, I think you're going to like it.

I can't see why 20's would cause any issues compared to any other rim !! It shouldn't wear bearings out any quicker, or cause bump steer. As long as the overall diameter is kept the same, and you have the proper back spacing the car doesn't care what rim diameter is on it. The only thing that should get affected is the ride because of side wall height.

You feel the road as you would with any 20" short porfile tire....but its not an issue... tires are a hair taller but definatley wider, however the 20" is a wider rim and does have a little different offset than the factory wheels, and thus does put a little extrra load on the bearings..tire diameter should not effect the bearing in any way...but it would effect bump steer if the height was out a ton.....

Thanks for the heads up, on the front hubs. I've done the one's on my Dakota, they were quick and easy swap. I'll have mine here tomorrow, I'll try to post some pics.
Guy I know in Unionvill has a SRT Charger & has "chiped' it, turbo'd it & then replaced the short block after it "Blow'd up Real Good"!! replacement s/block, came from Ohio & he says it works better than it ever has!!! Was running mid 12's before & hopes to get to the low 12's

It's home! Took a few pics, while it was still clean. Now I need to do some reading/button pushing to figure out how to adjust all the gadgets, like seat, pedal, steering memory etc...
