I haven't posted much, so he we go! 85 jag front suspension, s10 rear end and leaf springs, 327, 700r4, and an 1"1/2" chop. The jag front is the way to go if anyone is looking for a front end, its got a chevy bolt pattern, 4 piston calipers rack and pinion. And its bolted in on the jag!

I think anything before 86 for the jag front will work. Here's a thread on the hamb http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=451036&showall=1 You can search ozrodders as well, its a popular overseas swap!
i do agree about that jag front end, all those people messing with pinto front ends, that jag front is awesome, rack steering big brakes and chev bolt pattern, if i had known about this i would have used this in the buick instead of grafting a gm subframe
I'D love to see some pics! For now I'm going to use the seats out of the jag that I got the front end out of. Rear seat fits like a glove! Eventually I'll put the original bench back in the front, but for now the leather jag seats only need a re-dye. They're blue. Need to be black! I'm not sure on the windshield yet. If I go with a visor, I'll need the brace. But with the chop, a visor may not look good. opinions??

Dustman, that 47 is looking good! Were you going to pie-cut the hood, and v-butt the windshield? Did both on my 46 Fleetline, made a world of difference! I put front [power buckets] and rear bench seat out of a 95 Riviera in it, they fit like a glove with very minimum narrowing [simple] to the rear bench! Didn't even have to re-upholster them. I will include pictures of the car if you are interested.
Here are the pics of my 46 Fleetline which I sold last summer. Note the pie-cut hood and the v-butt windshield. Personally, I would run without the visor, especially on a chopped car. My car was not chopped but gave every indication that it was, just from the body lines.
