I might be wrong but I kinda think I heard that one of them went to someone here in Canada.  No idea what part of Canada though.

Yup, I just did a google search, seems a Don Voth from Canada bought one of them.

That's wicked looking !! Love the ass end !! Foose is still the man. Mid engine Prowler may be a little light in the front end in my opinion. CNC machining foam bucks for one off (OK, 50) projects, right up my alley !! God damn, I'm in the wrong Country !!

Hey Hemi, this stuff (well kinda this stuff) does happen here in Canada (sort of).  I remember finding a website that was showing a project that someone from the London Ontario area was working on.  They were attempting to build their own wooden buck of a Ferrari Enzo so they could make several replica bodies.  If I remember correctly, the guy was well on his way with the wooden buck when he found out about the foam buck possibilities.  This is the part that I found extremely interesting ... he bought a 1/18 or whatever size diecast model of an Enzo, then had a southern Ontario company scan the model into a computer and then had the computer machine out the shape onto a massive foam block ... after the machining of the block was done, even the windshield wiper that was present on the model could be seen.  It was ablsolutely amazing.  The guy was very secretive about the whole process, refusing to even mention the name of the company that did the foam block work (and the internet stuff might not even be there anymore) due to Ferrari (the company) sueing kit car companies at the time.  As I recall, he was going to make 7 of the bodies (I remember seeing one advertised on Kijiji).

To me, it was amazing to see what a foam block, a toy model and a computer could do ... probably saved the guy a couple of years trying to perfect a wooden buck.

He's a real friendly guy too !! He will take time to talk to you and not brush you off like some of these other guys that their reputation has swolen their heads. Gene Winfield is one of these builders I've lost all respect for. Very arrogant..

Speaking of a CNC machined block of foam, what about a CNC machined solid aluminum Camaro ??

These Bailey Blade videos on foam bucks are pretty good. There's about 12 in the series.
