What dia. is the bore now? Could you not just polish the pin down a couple thou. in dia? I'll take a look @ work and see if we have anything that dia., I'll be going to TO, Airport rd area, next Tuesday, if you can wait that long.

This is what the idler looks like, it has two bushings (see the grease fittings) this is the most comon problem with the 49-54 Chevy front ends ( the closer to spec this thing is the tighter the steering), both of the bushings need to be reamed in line....A reamer with a pilot is what should be used.... worst case is off to the machine shop the small end of a sbc connectiong rod uses a .928 finished size ( aftermarket bushed rod) so, I know we used to resize the new bushings after installing them.

I would think the pin is 59/64 unless they had it ground special . 23.5 would give you.0033 or .0016 per side fairly snug fit still trying to invision what part of the drag link is 4" . Honestly if you cant find one depending on how much it shrinks a 59/64 drill will get you enough clearance to fit it. may have to hit it with a flapper wheel quick . but Im sure someone will have it
Do you have access to a mill or a drill press ? You'll need to be coming at it as square as possible, otherwise you'll end up with an over sized dia. at the start end, and typically the reamer will generally follow the existing bore. A reamer that size will likely have a 5/8" dia. shank.
