Good thing I'm not the only one with a 58 Chev, gonna need to pick some brains. smile

 

Originally had a 327/350 hybrid (parts from both but ran well.

 

Stuffed a BBB 455, because I can. biggrin

 

Got a bunch of stuff to do to it, but finding the time is the hard part.

Tubular A-arms, 2" drop front spindles, 12" front disks

replacement sheet metal for the rear quarters. replacement deck lid.

Hey, another 58 Chevy guy! Good to see. When I restored my Belair (my avatar) over 20 years ago, folks just laughed at me. Now they're popping up everywhere. So what's the plan with this car?

I've got enough parts to redo the front end end. 2" lower and 12" disks.
Undecided on which vette ralley wheels to use 15x6 or 15x7 upfront and 15x8 out back. I also have a pair of '88 vette 17x9.5 alloys for the rear. But those have 7" back space that they sit real close to the frame, unless I use 1" spacer.
