In need of early SBC brackets
Permalink

I am looking for the power steering and alt brackets from an early SBC. The ones I need would be from a Chevelle / Camaro / Nova ect. I am changing the power steering and gen combo on my 55 to make room for the power brake kit. Any help would be appreciated. Just send me a PM.

Thanks for the tip Rochie. I actually contacted the seller a few days ago thinking that those might work, but as Poncho62 has pointed out, those are for a newer set up then mine. So, still looking. I would be open to buying a complete 283/ 327/ 307 if it came with the brackets and pullies I am looking for.

Evilbay has them new in plain steel, polished aluminum, brushed aluminum, and just about anything else you want for the short waterpump chebbies.

They also have lowmount stuff to relaocate stuff if that works better for you

And if you watch - the yeven have stock stuff for sale

You can buy pretty much everything  you need for under a $100

Yes, this is true. However, due to a few past deals from sales on "Evilbay" I would be much happier to deasl with someone local (ish). Thanks for the tip though. :)

If you want a lower alt bracket for a short water pump, check out RPM. For $20 they are hard to beat.

I have this lower bracket. If you want once I tear mine apart (in a couple of weeks) I can make you some templates for it. There is not much to it really, cut some 1/4 plate and you have your bracket.
