USHIP is the cheapest way to ship just about anything including cars/trucks however there is a slight problem in that the "carrier" may not be bonded/insured or even have a fleet vehicle. People are generally greedy and take the risk of USHIP whose rates are generally 1/2 or less of common carriers, and you can't go pissin' 'n moanin' to USHIP because it's not their problem,,,

Watch an episode of "Shipping Wars".  Uship puts the jobs up for bids which go to the lowest bidder...it's painful to watch but serves as a warning to anyone thinking of using them.

Best dog I ever had was a Shiloh Shepherd (plush coat). She was hands down smarter and more obedient than any of our other dogs. She knew everyone by name and could let herself out of the house when she needed out. I just never trained her to close the door behind her

update from the seller

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

found the car!!!!after, numerous calls, emails, then contacting paypal, filling complaints and u ship about fraud, mentioning that we have tryied to reach him no replyies.u ship stated they tried calling him as well but used a false number on the u ship.... so i tried a text message a mentioning rcmp..

he called the lady whom was to get car body within ten minutes... he has it but wont deliver it..he states tried to contact us. well he didnt as he had three phone numbers he could call and leave a message and our emails... anyways the car is to be to be picked up tonight..

it has been looked at and is at the location stated and pics taken of his truck ,plates and trailer as still on it.. when the car is loaded i will be leaving the nastiest feedback on uship.. anyways guys beware of uship.. deal gone way crazy .. use a business that has a yellow page ad, and a good rep you can check on.. not some fly by night jackass.. that i paid uship a fee for..

The Uship concept is a great idea, unfortunately it also attracts the darker element. Some shippers can be pretty green and get in over their head. Some have been just down right crooked. While some get it right all the way through, and do everything that is expected of them. There definitely is some gamble to it with the way it's set up right now. But if they were to put in all the checks and balances that makes it totally safe and foolproof, you would see any possible "savings" evaporate over night. You pay your money, and you take your chances, as they say. Hope it all pans out for you.

When I was in trucking we called these loads "BROKER LOADS" as the load was taken on by a broker than "sold off' to a trucking co. or independant trucker such as the Shipping wars guys. Broker makes his his money by pawning it off for less & pockets the rest EASY MONEY just pick up the phone back then, now it's computer!!!!
