A great relationship!!

Just had a somewhat similar experience. Gas tank on my 92GM truck started leakin, took it to my sons garage to get it fixed.
He bought the new tank, pump and sender, new straps etc, then switched it over for me.

When i went to pay him, he said No way, you found me all kinds of garage equipment, helped me out 100's of times, this is my turn now.

Nice gesture...but if my kids wanted to do something like that for me, I would have to lend them the money....if I had any, which I dont, cus they borrowed it all.....lol

I thought it was way nice just that young guy had such respect, love and appreciation for his dad..Lord knows many of us have probly had lots-a- stuggles with our sons & dads.. Kinda gave me one of those warm fuzzies as it seems I am always building bridges with my kids ...I thought it was a way big thing to do.....smile
