I know I'm fairly new here, and most likely no one here will be interested in a newer Jeep, but I figured I would list it anyway just in case.

I need to sell this to get some extra money to get a truck, or I will trade for a full size pickup truck that's capable of pulling my 24ft enclosed trailer, and mustang to the dragstrip.

2005 Jeep TJ Rubicon
142,000kms (88K miles)
4.0L
6 speed manual
Black exterior/interior
CD player
Dana 44's with electronic lockers front and rear
Banks turbo intake
6" lift with Rancho RSX 9000 adjustable shocks
35" TOYO MTZ tires(35X13.5),
Spare tire is a procomp M/T (35X12.5)
Cragar soft 8 rims
Procomp front and rear bumpers (Trail Head Customs swing out rear tire carrier)
mild Crane Cam with matching roller rockers/lifters (installed by Elgin Chrysler in St Thomas)
Has a winch on it but my kids lost the plug in controller so I can't guarantee it still works
Tail light guards
Disconnects for the sway bar links
Both hard and soft tops included (both tops have tinted windows)
Rear view mirror has temp and compass display in it, with LED reading lights
Clear front marker lenses included but will be replaced with the factory originals. The clears lenses were overtightened and cracked at Elgin Chrysler causing them to let water in.

Brand new starter
Brand new alternator
Spark plugs recently changed
Fresh oil change in Dec
Diff fluids changed in Dec
Adjustable rear trac bar installed, and alignment done about 2 weeks ago

I don't know what it would need for a safety for sure. A mechanic at my day job looked it over and said its most likely just the rear brakes (pads and discs), and e-brake hooked back up needed.

$14K saftied/e-tested, OBO/AS-IS
Open to trades for a fullsize pickup. No S10's, rangers, dakota's, etc.
Make an offer! Any questions, feel free to ask!
Located in Fingal ON, about 10 minutes west of St. Thomas, ON

My daughter drove my Jeep for a couple of years, no issues

I have barrel rolled (3 complete rolls), my lifted CJ-5 down a huge rock face up in the Kawarthas and I am still alive and well. Only my pride was a little hurt. Its usually the drivers are the issue with "unsafe vehicles". Sorry for the rant!

if hemi 43 feels their unsafe ,, he is entitled to his opinion just as any 1 else on this forum , this winter i was kinda thinkin thats what i need , seeing them go by me as im doin well below then speed limit , But at the same time i have seen reports on news shows that say they tend to roll over more easily then most ,, i hope your able to sell your beast , it does look kool .
take care..................

Being entitled to ones opinion, i agree with, but don't start spouting off in somebody elses posting while they are trying to sell something.

I thought the swapmeet section was to be comment and opinion free.I think there would be a lot more stuff for sale if people weren't worried about expert opinions and critques.I have tons of cool stuff for sale but there is no way I would list it here,I don't need the greef.Let the buyers and sellers work it out, there opinion is the only one that matters.Good luck with the Jeep its a cool ride. Good point about the comments Ed...I am going to have to start keeping a better eye on the Swap Meet section again.....

About the Jeeps being unsafe, especially the CJs etc....Being short and stubby, they have gotten a bad rep over the years.....It brings to mind the Ford Explorer fiasco of a few years ago....Was it the Ford Explorer or the Firestone tires?...remember that one?

Anyways, lets keep the comments out of the swap meet section ...thanks

Finally had a day off work, got my truck back up and running.

Still open to trades, doesn't need to be a truck, or cash offers.
I'll be putting the soft top on this week for some sunny weather pictures.

I love those little jeeps. If they weren't such a whore on gas, I would still have one. Never felt unsafe or unstable in one. They really hold their value also. If I didn't really need my pick-up for trailer pulling, I might offer a trade. The 06 Ram is a pig on fuel too, so I wouldn't notice a difference there.

Hey Hemi,,,,,, it's a Mopar.  Ur breakin the code here! lol.

That's a really nice Rubicon and a decent price.
Jeeps are a lot of fun-take the roof and doors off, drop the windshield and have a blast !
Jeeps don't roll over unless the driver makes it ;0
