bring on the spring season. this will be the first one in recent history that i am pretty much ready and waiting for it. just took the galaxie over to the paint shop and the coronet and chevelle are pretty much ready to go. i have finally completed my quest of one big block of each of the big 3. 1- 1970 chevelle 572 c/i dart , 2- 1969 coronet 426 c/i hemi and 3- 1967 ford galaxie vert 428 c/i., and my one small block, 4-1950 ford f-1 302 c/i efi.. oh yea i can't forget the 95 ultra classic H-D and the 89 24ft switzer 454 c/i.. luckily the better half can handle all of them to except the H-D. my new challenge is to clean up and start selling off all the overages. i got a pile of it. stay tuned i will need the gas and insurance money.
everybody be safe and have a good one, guys. looking forward to some meet and greets this summer. remember, its's all fun till someone loses an eye. lol

That's "Road Brine" & it's deadly on electrical connections!!  When i drove tractoer trailer & the DOT started using that $hit, we had more problems w/truck & trailer wiring!!  Every connection was full of "GREEN" crap!!!  Bet you'll see them "DUMPING" tons of it on the roads, end of mar. just to get rid of it!!!!!!!

Your'e correct Pete about the wiring corroding!! Hearing a number of problems with that crap. Being liquid it gets into every little crack etc in the chassis also, besides everything else.
Just had a case of a 2005 pickup here, guy wanted an oil change, when they started lifting it it bent behind the cab, frame rotted out!!

They only used it for a year here in Ottawa, haven't seen it out for a while now.

Rotten stuff, especially if you have a rain-x'd windshield. Completely gums it up, makes it impossible to see out of.

Must be spring,we had our first Kijijidiot looking at my sons car.The guy drove over 4 hrs from Quebec after seeing 20 pictures and being told there would be no price drop.He shows up with a truck and trailer(good sign) and goes over the car for nearly 2hrs(another good sign),he now knows the car better than we do.There is no rust a fresh paint job and computer upgrade on the LT1,new brake lines and fuel lines, everything else works as well.He could find no faults so points out that one of the small vent windows is loose, the carpet has a stain(which he actually put his nose to and smelled),and then he states he was really looking for a family car(oh oh bad sign) ,asks if my son will drop the price,The Boy replies, no we already went over that yesterday and again before you left.So the guy says something in French to his buddy, gets back in his truck and away they go(really bad sign). If you are looking for a family car why would you drive 4hrs one way to look at a customized, performance inhansed,Plum Crazey purple, Roadamaster wagon that you had seen 20 pictures of so you knew wasn't any ware near stock before you left home, and spend nearly 2hrs going over, then leave without even making an offer before you head home. What a waste of everyones time and a lot of expensive gas. Ed
