How was it laid out inside? I've been to the one in Georgia a few times, and they use to have multiple counters that you could place your order at, but the last few years, it's just one...and you have to wait in line forever..
Kinda like Consumers Distributing for car guys.

My Big block Ranchero got really hot in that parking lot back in 2002. It didn't boil over, but didn't really shut off when I turned off the key either. Summit sponsored a lunch stop as part of the Hot Rod Power Tour that year and man, what a cluster f*** trying to get every one parked. I was probably 20' away and walking quickly when the "run-on" quit "runnin'-on", so I had lunch, then went and bought an electric fan to install in the parking lot. I shoulda, woulda, coulda parked across the street and walked over - I could have saved a lot of time parking, embarrassment with the pre ignition scenerio, and money on an electric fan that didn't really help that much.disbelief

While I still order from there, I haven't been back since. It would have to be a big order to make it worth the trip - now I use the parcel service in Port Huron.biggrin

I have been there 4-5 times and never any problem. I pre-order so my order is ready. Of course, you can't walk into this candy shop without some impulse buying. I have bought engine parts, ignition components, tires, wheels and garage stuff. Several years ago, I was retuning with my capped long box full, nearly $3000.00 which I fully claimed when I arrived at the border. Had my 1 week exemption but still way over. The booth guy asked me what I was building and when I told him, I think he was a car guy, because he waved me through. The store is so big, that I have never had to park as far away from the front door as the order counter is from the front door. They have the most helpful, knowledgeable and couteous staff and you can't beat the prices. I'd like to have bought everything in Canada, but when I'm told anticipated delivery times and the price difference, I'm sorry Canadian dealers, you are out of the market.
