Viewing these pics is a good reminder about drinking and driving.!
In my teens we saw a number of bad accidents like some of those, hangin around at night, and knowing the ambulance driver/owner it was common to chase the ambulance to see what was going on.
Most of it was pretty horrible stuff.
Those old ambulances back then were BIG old Pontiacs, maybe 67 or so, and would really motor.

What a hell of a way to make a living!
