I installed the new strg. wheel & adapter & got at Summit a week or so ago + the hurst shifter boot. Then the AM/FM MP3 radio arrived from Calif. Sales agent brought it over to make sure it would fit the dash of the 52 [ touch of good service] then he fit it into dash, I started passing tools to him, & it's installed & wired up!!! all I have to do is wrap tie the wires up under the dash!! "BONUS" Threw in one of the engine!!! Pete
I like the radio,,looks vintage. Is it supposed to look like the original? I have no clue of MP3,,in fact I put a "radio" in the wifes car a few months ago and I had no idea there was no cd player in it,,there was a long cord hanging off the back of radio that I think is what MP3 plugs into.
It was ordered From Custom Autosound, thru their sales outlet here in Port Perry [Endeavour collector cars] found him in Old Autos. I used the org. lwr. chrome face plate & they supplied the radio & custom filler plate[chrome] to fit the hole!! Didn't expect the pontiac n/plate so that was a bonus as well as John delivering it & getting right into installing it. I don't think this is the 'general' rule for him but this was a "odd ball" set up!!! The MP3 is a music "stick" that you can store 100's of songs on & plug into radio to play them ???
