38 Dodge Build.. (Condensed Version)

Thought I would post a few pictures of my build. This is the condensed version.. (dont want to bore anyone)..

Built myself a 2x4  frame. Z`d up front, C notched in the back. Body is chanelled 4 inches. I put together a quarter eliptical front suspension setup (this is the true meaning of suicide front end). 4 Link with air bags in the rear. Vega steering box, 355 chevy with powerpack heads and a Ridgerunner Intake.  I welded up the spider web grille. (not sure if I like it or not yet). Found the cool old headlights on E-Bay.. Still need to wire it and build the exhaust.. Like I said I dont want to bore anyone so In a nutshell thats it......

Just had my wide whites mounted up on my black steelies.. Installing them tomorrow..Wheeeeeeee

Anybody has any questions, comments, or opinions (good or bad)  Like to hear it..  Always open to suggestions.............

I know, I  know... Believe me.. Im a Dodge guy. I knew there would be grief about putting a SBC in it. But there was no way I wasn`t running that intake.. Plus I have a budget I need to stick to and I already had this motor.  I have a sweet little 340 with X heads, but until I can afford to rebuild it the Dodge Guys will have to forgive me....

I'm just messin' with you !! Looks like a cool build !! It will be cheaper to use that engine anyway. Dodge parts are always more expensive.smile

Great build! I love it... and unique approach on the front end! My next project (I hope to start soon) I'll be doing basically what you've done, build my own frame, Z'd, channeled etc. I may have some questions for ya as I go lol.... good job!
