I read that...Holy moly..Can't say we have used brake clean to clean anything we are welding..haven't ever used carb cleaner either..but boy that guy may have seriously shortened his life..with all the chemicals out there and around our shops we should be carefull,  that is scary..

I have a suspicion that eventually Brake Clean will be banned. Put on the hazardous chemicals list, or whatever they call it now.

phosgene is the same gas that was used in trench fighting in WW 1 , I think killed an messed up a lotta people on both sides ..77.
