got a call last night from an old truck driving buddy of mine from P.E.I.. he told me about a guy down there he knows who is selling a fresh built 454. sounds like it has all the right goodies on it. the receipt for the re/build is 12,000.00 which he has the paper work. he's not a gear head and didn't understand all the tech aspects of the motor job. he is faxing all the paper work up to me this a.m. and i will have a look see. here's where it gets interesting. there is a guy on here who might/maybe be going down to the woodstock n.b. area to p/u a roller truck for a project for himself and woodstock is about 1.5-2 hrs from the motor in p.e.i.. think freight cost savings. 2 birds with one stone. i don't need the motor as i have a couple here already but someone on here might be looking. he is talking 1/2 the re-build cost but probably negotiable. if its done right with the right parts that a reasonable price.
- the computer has made this continent a whole lot smaller. this is a prime example of maintaining your ties with old buddies from all over it. you just never know whats around somebody else's corner.
oops. ps; of course finders fees are expected. coors light cans
